Mohamed Abrini, the key suspect in Paris and Brussels attacks was convicted on Monday in Paris.

A judge, who was also an expert in antiterrorist issues, has led the investigations regarding the terrorist attacks of Paris and Brussels on November 13, 2015.

Previously held in Belgium, where he was arrested on April 9, he was handed over to the French police department on Monday.

He was brought the Palace of Justice in the French capital, where he arrived escorted by Gign, as his lawyers have announced in a press release, quoted by AFP.

The investigating judge did not question him.

Mohamed Abrini was the first identified criminal as one of the suspects in Paris and Brussels attacks.

The tragic event resulted in 130 deaths.

Before the attack, Abrini was caught by the surveillance cameras together with Salah Abdeslam, in a black Clio that carried the suicide bombers to Stade de France.

On the run for several months.

Mohamed Abrini was arrested after being recognized as “the man with the hat” that appears in images taken by the surveillance cameras at the airport in Brussels, on March 22, accompanied by two jihadists before they committed the suicide bombings.

The attacks on March 22 in the Belgian capital ended with 32 dead.

His lawyers complained that Mohamed is accused both in France and in Belgium for attacks and opened a procedure turn.

May states like France and Belgium judge an individual twice for the same acts?

French Justice wants to deprive Abrini of his right to testimony both during investigations and during a possible future trial in Paris of the attacks on November 13, 2015.
