The two old rivals will play against each other in the Grand Slam match at the Australian Open.

Rafael Nadal managed to win the latest game with Grigor Dimitrov. The semi-finals game took five sets and ended in a spectacular way.

The Spanish player managed to have the following scores: 6-3, 5-7, 7-6, 6-7 and 6-4.

This was the first time Dimitrov lost a game this year.

The 30-year-old Nadal is set to win a 15th major title.

The match against Roger Federer will take place on Sunday, in Melbourne.

Nadal revealed that he never thought he would be part of the Australian Open final again.

“It is a very special thing for both of us to be playing again in a major final. Neither of us probably thought we would be here again,” added the 30-year-old Spanish player.

Federer also won a game in the semi-final. On Thursday, the Swiss beat Stan Wawrinka. He managed to win in a shorter time than his rival Nadal, with an approximative two-hour.

The 35-year-old already has 17 major titles.

In the final at the Australian Open, all the finalists are aged over thirty. In the women category, the William sisters, Venus, 36 and Serena, 35, will compete against each other.

Federer and Nadal have played against each other for many years. In the Grand Slam finals, they competed for nine times against one another.

The last time this occurred was in 2011.

Fans can’t wait to see them play. The game will definitely be spectacular and a very close one.

Now, it is hard to picture who is going to win.
