Sunday was a big day for WWE. The 2017 Royal Rumble took place in Alamodome in San Antonio.

John Cena won his 16th world championship. He fought AJ Styles and managed a great victory. People even call it the “game of an era” for how great it was.

The game started pretty tamed down, but it then evolved into something huge.

Cena is the second player to get sixteen championship titles. Only Ric Flair has managed this until now.

Randy Orton also caught a lot of attention in last night’s championship. He managed to defeat rival Roman Reigns and won his second Royal Rumble.

This win will enable Orton to participate at Wrestle Mania in April. There is also a possibility he could face another rival and that is John Cena.

Although chances are high, until the big championship in April, he has to fight on February 12 to really prove his worth.

A game between the two champions would be interesting. Being at WrestleMania makes it even more important.

Orton had a great chance in the past of participating at WrestleMania, after he won the Royal Rumble in 2014. He didn’t get to participate, though.

In the women’s championship, Charlotte and Bailey confronted each other. The match ended with Charlotte’s victory.

In the Cruiserweight championship, Neville defeated Rich Swann, while Kevin Owens beat Roman Reigns in the Universal Championship.

This was the first big championship of the year, that had pretty spectacular results.
