After president Donald Trump banned refugees from entering the country, Starbucks has a huge promise for them. In the next five years, the company will hire 10,000 refugees.

The news is really amazing, considering how refugees struggle not only to get in the United States, but to find a job also.

The CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, released a statement on Sunday. Across all of its franchises in the world, refugees will be hired.

This movement will start with the United States as now it is the one most affected.

The ones that will get a job will be the ones “who have served with U.S. troops as interpreters and support personnel.”

But this won’t fight only the immigration ban, but other decisions Trump took since he was invested. The company will provide health care for its employees and will help the ones that grow coffee from Mexico.

Starbucks will also start a program for young immigrants that reached the states as children. This will enable them to resist deportation.

As he concludes his letter, Schultz writes: “I can assure you that we will do whatever it takes to support you, our partners, to realize your own dreams and achieve your own opportunities.”

He gives his word that discrimination will not be made.

This must bring a great comfort to the refugees who must have had some terrible days since Trump banned them from the US. Many were sent back to their country immediately after getting to the states.

The ones that come from war-thorn countries are even in a bigger struggle. Some sold everything they got only to get the chance of a better life.
