Two radio reporters were shot in the Dominican Republic during a live broadcasting.
The emission was broadcasted on Facebook Live and one of the victims was behind the cameras.
Nobody knows exactly what happened during the incident because everything unfolded with the speed of light.
Three mysterious armed men interrupted the live show with gunshots, while some were screaming hysterically: ‘Gunshots! Gunshots!’.
The massacre took place in San Pedro de Macoris, a hometown situated near the capital of Santo Domingo.
Both journalists died instantly
One of the victims was TV host Luis Manuel Medina and the other one was producer Leo Martinez.
In the middle of the ruffle, the secretary was severely wounded and she is under medical supervision.
The three authors were arrested and questioned by the local police.
Until now, no one discovered the reason behind this massacre.
‘The investigation started and we will discover the truth’, declared the Attorney General Jean Rodriguez.
Two years ago, two American reporters were shot to death during a live broadcasting in Virginia.
Although cruel attacks and bullying reporters are common practices in the Dominican Republican, this massacre is something unprecedented.
In 2015, another journalist was killed but the police discovered the case was, in fact, a theft.
The images surfaced on social media and they are truly horrible.
