Wayne Rooney is the highest paid player from the Premier League. He plays for Manchester United and receives about 300K per week.

He is the team captain and always scores the most times. Unfortunately, this season, the player had to sit on the bench, where his coach, Jose Mourinho told him to.

The second most paid is Sergio Aguero, followed by Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea. Aguero makes 240,000 pounds per week, while Fabregas makes 220,000.

From Liverpool, Philippe Contino makes it to the fourth spot, followed next by Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.

The last one featured on the list is Abel Hernandez with 35,000 pounds. He plays for Hull.

Last week, Rooney could not play with his team because he was ill, but he returned for training. On Saturday, his team will face Watford, but, most likely, he won’t play.

Although he makes a lot of money, his team is in a huge debt. The club’s chairman is blaming Brexit for the increase of their debt.

Rooney also became the one that scored the most goals for the team ever. He broke Sir Bobby Charlton’s record. The chairman congratulated him on the huge milestone.

The Portuguese player is thankful for the manager and owes the team’s success to him.

The team has a lot of training to do to win for the Premier League as they were left behind. They want to be champions or at least, try.
