They did not finish high school, but they own considerable wealth, fame and highly successful careers in Hollywood.

Here are the actors who have hit the movie industry despite the fact that they did not have a specialized diploma!

Al Pacino

He had the best intentions to get a specialization in acting, but at 17 Pacino gave up high school, which, ironically, was preparing him to become an actor.

But, taking into account his talent, who needs a degree?

John Travolta

Actor John Travolta has ceased to attend his high school in New Jersey simply because he wanted to enter the workforce as quickly as possible.

After that, he thought a diploma would be useful so he started attending a course in acting, singing and dancing. He enrolled, but never got to finish it by the time he won the casting for his first role – in “Welcome Back, Kotter.” He was only 21 years old back then.

Marilyn Monroe

Norma Jeane Baker went to Van Nuys High School, but she never got to finish it.

The reason for not graduating is not surprising for those times – she became Marilyn Monroe and got married to her first husband.

Ryan Gosling

The actor knew what he wanted from life. He left school when he was 17 years and more than that, he moved from Canada to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. Said and done!

Johnny Depp

Another superstar who never gave a damn about his studies was Depp. He had rushed more than others and gave up school at 15 years.

However, Depp felt bad about it and he returned to school a few weeks later.

The point is that even the school principal told Johnny to ‘cut the crap’ and start pursuing his dream of becoming a musician.
