One of the best games of the last decade is Portal, a creation that applies itself perfectly to the AR and VR.

Since the launch of the original game, Portal has attracted many fans through its original game mechanics and lack of aggressiveness.

This recipe was an unprecedented one. Although it had various elements of Valve that were coming from previous games such as Half Life and Half Life 2, Portal was an adventure game by itself.

Mostly, every first person game could be translated into an interesting virtual reality experience.

It is true that the optimized technology is reflected in the most special experiences, but the idea of being transported into a virtual world it is worth living anyway.

Returning to Portal, the producers have flirted with the transposition of that title in VR since July 2015, but only now we could see how the same game would look in the AR.

The project, that is immortalized in the video below, is the creation of the developer KennyW and involved a significant effort to adapt the elements that were first created for the Microsoft Hololens.

The helmet designed by Microsoft is, by far, the most capable equipment for you to experience the augmented reality or AR.

The result seems like it came out from science fiction movies.

It seems at least strange to see some portals to the stars on your living room wall or on the hallway of an office building.

It is worth noting that this is not the full game and not even an episode that includes some tasks or puzzles.

The entire effort is just a proof of concept, opposite of what is possible with a bit of a developer talent who dragged inspiration from a popular game.

The graphics engine is one of the most appropriate for making reliable cross-platform experiences.
