British MPs debate Trump’s visit to the UK

On Monday, the British MPs put Donald Trump’s visit to a debate. Most of them thought that the US president is racist and sexist, and therefore should not be allowed to visit their country.

The debate took roughly three hours and the members exposed all kinds of opinions. The president’s level of intelligence was questioned by them and he was even compared to a child that throws tantrums.

The British citizens think that he should not meet the Queen. Almost two million signed a petition about it.

Officials think the same. For the example, the House of Commons.

For this debate, politicians came in a large number. Because they were so many, each of them only delivered a five-minute speech.

One of them declared that it’s hard to see their Prime Minister be in such good relations with him and not only that, but being like that in the behalf of the country. He says that they share no values and how could they hope of finding one.

Another one thought it was inappropriate to invite him as in the last fifty years, only two US presidents had this honor. Asking him after he has been in charge for only one week wasn’t right.

Trump was also called an ignorant, especially when it comes to science and the climate change.

While inside, the politicians were debating the matter, outside people were protesting. Thousands of them were there, in front of the Parliament and asked to say no to Trump and racism.

In spite of the many that are against his visit, he will still have to come, as an invitation cannot be taken back.
