The protests in Romania are continuing and are getting bigger.

On Sunday night, Romanians gathered again. In Bucharest, the crowd was huge. Protesters turned on their flashlights and offered a great view.

The citizens promise not to stop until they see a result. They want the Social Democrat party to give up.

The leader of the party is accused of corruption and the citizens do not want to see him in such an important position.

All week, protesters gathered in many cities across the European country. The number is getting bigger, but still, they didn’t manage to change anything.

The country hasn’t seen such a movement since the 1989 revolution.

But they don’t fight only against the party, but also against corruption, which reached a peak in the country. A new law will allow the ones guilty of corruption an easier punishment, but Romanians won’t accept it.

Most of them want a better future for the next generation and won’t stop until they get what they want.

Last night, there were more than 300,000 protesters in the capital city. They all carried signs and yelled. Many of them shouted: “Resign!”.

A protester carried the American flag with him, saying that US should interfere and repeal this law. The man says that he sees some similarities between this protest and the 1989 revolution. This one, however, is more casual, but requires the same impact.

Although this doesn’t imply death, it asks for hope.

The government talked about taking measures, but they did not come to a conclusion. The law will still be implemented.
