The author of London’s most recent attack shouted: ‘I will kill all the Muslims’ while he was driving the van into the pedestrians

A car ran over a group of pedestrians in London on Sunday night near a mosque in what appears to be an Islamophobic attack

Police in London announced a person is dead and a 48-year-old man was arrested.

Investigators believe the man who died in front of the mosque should not have died just from the impact with the car, writes BBC News.

According to some witnesses, the victim felt sick during the evening prayer and he went outside to receive the first aid, so the investigators consider the option that he died from natural causes and not from the impact.

Meanwhile, the man who ran over the pedestrians with a white van car screamed that he wanted to kill all the Muslims.

A man who witnessed the entire scene, Abdulrahman Saleh Alamoudi, said that after the man was immobilized, he was still shouting: “I will kill all Muslims, I will kill all the Muslims”.

“We managed to put him on the floor and then he started shouting <<‘Kill me, kill me>>. I said: <<We will not kill you. Why did you do this?>>. He refused to answer.”, added the Daily Mail witness.

The vehicle was rented from a Welsh company known as Pontyclun Van Hire.

The Muslim Welfare House thanked Imam Mohammed Mahmoud “whose courage helped calm the situation immediately after the incident and prevented new injured and loss of life.”
