The photos were labeled by most netizens as ‘awkward’, mostly because the vibe between Arnold and Macron’s wife was similar to the behavior of two people who feel attracted towards each other.

The 69-year-old actor attended an official visit to France to discuss with President Emmanuel Macron about the climate change and the Paris accord.

Schwarzenegger was welcomed at the Elysees Palace by Macron and after a tête-à-tête, he had the opportunity to meet Brigitte.

The former governor quickly became fascinated by the president’s wife and at his departure, Arnold planted a kiss on Brigitte’s cheek, who looked more than pleased.

Images of the two kissing became viral due to their facial expressions as they approached each other.

The former governor of California met on Friday with French President Emmanuel Macron to talk about climate change, saying that political guidelines are not important when it comes to this issue, writes AFP.
