The Pyongyang authorities condemn the United States of “unleashing” a denigration campaign against North Korea, using Otto Warmbier’s death as the perfect excuse.

“The North Korean denigration campaign, which takes place in the United States, compels us to make a firm determination that humanitarianism and benevolence for the enemy are a taboo and we should further sharpen the blade of law”.

North Korea denies the hypothesis that during Otto’s detention, the American student had been subjected to torture.

“Our relevant agencies treat all criminals in accordance with domestic laws and international standards, and Warmbier was no exception”, said a spokesman for the National Council for Reconciliation, adding that Otto Warmbier was treated under “humanitarian conditions “.

The 22-year-old was buried in Ohio on Thursday, five days after he was sent home.

The other day, a North Korean daily described US President Donald Trump as ‘psychopath’

The article mentioned that Trump feels comfortable about the “difficult situation” because he was expecting for a reason to attack North Korea, diverting the attention from the domestic political crisis.

“South Korea must realize that pursuing this Trump psycho can only lead to disaster”, wrote the daily in the controversial editorial.

Donald Trump condemned the ‘brutality of the North Korean regime’ after the death of American student Otto Warmbier.

The young man was released from a North Korean prison and sent home a week ago.

Otto was in a coma and died five days after he was sent home in Cincinnati.

“Many terrible things have happened, but at least we brought him home to be with his parents,” the US president said immediately after the sad news was announced by Otto’s parents.
