Google representatives, the mother company of YouTube, revealed in a blog post they are planning to increase the efforts against extremist content that can easily lead to terrorism.

In addition, Youtube will delete such harmful content and they will also identify the authors of these malicious posts.

YouTube will take a firm stand against clips containing images that may be associated with racism or religious extremism.

The platform will block the authors of such posts and also they will not allow them to earn any money from it.

Even if YouTube is full of clips that appeal to fanatism and terrorism, most of them do not necessarily violate the site’s terms and conditions.

In addition, Google will delegate important resources to use more advanced technologies to quickly identify videos that should not be posted on Youtube.

Kent Walker, Google’s representative, said the American tech giant is aware that its measures against terrorism are insufficient.

He also said that Google will associate with important anti-extremist groups to identify more propagandistic content for the recruitment of jihadists.

The company will also try to find potential ISIS recruits based on their online searches and redirect them to videos that are meant to make them change their minds, notes Reuters.

Germany, France, and the UK are three of the most affected by terrorism countries.
