A nuclear power plant from the Czech Republic has decided that a swimsuit competition sounds like the best way to choose their next generation of interns.
The employees responsible for managing the plant’s Facebook page were asked to rate several high school graduates who just attended a photo session inside the cooling tower.
Although most of their female participants were more than happy to take the shots, the CEZ power conglomerate has caused a scandal in the Czech Republic.
The scandal was mostly generated by the employee’s idea of posting the pictures on Facebook and urging fans to vote their favorite.
The big prize consisted in a 14-days-training at the plant.
The company then apologized for the contest, compared with its previous cultural enrichment programs, such as hosting the Bohemian Philharmonic at the South Bohemian plant.
According to a press release, all 10 contestants have been given the chance to become new interns at the Temelin plant.
