In a conservative country like Russia, where beauty is exclusively associated with youth, an ambitious entrepreneur wants to launch a revolution

He founded the first modeling agency in the world for third-age models.

Despite the fact he has fought with prejudices and criticism, the offers are literally pouring.

 

Because he explains, reality cannot be bypassed: Russia’s population is getting older and he is offering retired models the opportunity they were yearning for.

Hairstyle and makeup on point now choose the right outfits and accessories. The models?

22-year-old Victoria and 69-year-old Irina.

Irina just sealed a contract with the only modeling agency in the world dedicated exclusively to elder women and men.

The agency it’s called Oldushka, a mix between Russian word “babushka” (grandmother) grafted with the English “old”.

It was founded by former Siberian blogger, Igor Gavar, determined to show the world that there is beauty in Russia at any age.

A few years ago, Gavar began publishing on his personal blog the photos of some retired people from Omsk, his hometown.

The pictured gathered so many likes and shares that thought of turning his characters into professional models.
