North Korea wants to kill the former leader from Seoul, Park Geun-hye
Pyongyang has threatened to execute the former president because she allegedly planned to assassinate their beloved leader, writes The Guardian.
In May, the North Korean state reported they have just uncovered a conspiracy aimed to exterminate Kim Jong-Un, plotted by Seoul and Washington.
A few days ago, North Korea’s national press agency has accused the former South Korean president of playing the key part in this story.
“We officially announce in our home and abroad that we plan to apply the death penalty to traitor Park Geun-hye”, wrote KCNA.
Former South Korean intelligence director Lee Byung-ho is also targeted by the threat
“From this moment on, they might benefit from a miserable death, just like a pair of dogs, anytime, anywhere, in any way”, the Pyongyang press agency writes.
Moreover, North Korea has required Seoul to deliver Park Geun-hye and Lee Byung-ho, accusing them of “infamous terrorism against North Korea’s top magistrate”.
Park was dismissed in December by the South Korean National Assembly, and its immunity was lifted in March.
She was imprisoned after she was accused of corruption, coercion, and abuse of power.
The former president risks the lifetime penalty.
Pyongyang is still launching threats alluded to Seoul and Washington after Donald Trump said that he is ready to resolve the North Korean issue with or without China’s support.
