The Portuguese striker received an offer from Paris Saint-Germain, the Marca newspaper announced on Thursday.

The Spanish daily also mentioned that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave La Liga and the main reason behind his life changing decision is the tax evasion scandal.

“PSG is ready to transfer the Portuguese player”, announced Marca.

AS, another newspaper affiliated with the Spanish club, talked about Ronaldo’s plans to discuss with President Florentino Perez after the Confederations Cup.

CR7 is currently involved in a case opened by the Madrid Prosecutor’s Office for an alleged tax fraud worth 14.7 million euros.

The fraud was committed between 2011 and 2014 via two companies located in the Virgin Islands and Ireland, announced a Spanish court.

Cristiano Ronaldo is willing to pay up no less than 14.8 million euros just to avoid a potential jail sentence after he was accused of tax evasion, reported the Iberian press.

According to Cadena Cope, the star of Real Madrid has decided to pay the staggering amount and reached an agreement with the judges.

However, on July 31, Cristiano Ronaldo must attend to his first hearing at Madrid’s Prosecutor’s Office, after the authorities linked the brilliant athlete with an illegal image rights sale involving Ronaldo and his agent.

Before they decide to close the case and to reveal the final verdict, Cristiano Ronaldo has 60 days to pre-pay the amount of 14.8 million euros – a solution apparently suggested by his legal team.
