A massive investigation unfolds in Turkey

The authorities detained almost 750 individuals accused of having links with ISIS.

The operation targeted no less than 29 Turkish cities, including the capital of Ankara and Turkey’s second most important city Istanbul.

As reported by The Sun, on Sunday the Turkish officers detained 450 suspects in the so-called first phase of the national operation against ISIS.

Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs announced the number of detainees is around 750 people.

The officers conducted raids in 29 from 81 targeted cities and confiscated documents, guns and ammunition.

According to the British publication, further information regarding the nationality of the suspects we’re not published yet.

This special operation is unfolded a month after 39 persons lost their life in the Reina nightclub.

During the New Year’s Eve party thrown in the exclusive night club, an anonymous gunman showed up and butchered everything in his sight.

The author was arrested weeks after and the bloody attack was claimed by the Islamic State.
