Russia kills a group of Turkish militants ‘by mistake’

Russia actions are part of an elaborate offensive conducted by Turkey against the Islamic State and the Kurdish militants away from the Turkish border.

Russia and Turkey are combatants in the Syrian war and they constantly collaborated in the most recent air raid against ISIS.

A Turkish militant revealed a Russian aircraft attacked the building in which the deported soldiers from al-Bab were staying.

The initial plan was to attack the ISIS fighters but, by accident, the aircraft targeted three soldiers.

Other 11 militants are severely wounded. The soldiers were rushed to the hospital.

Kremlin transmitted a declaration in which President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences for the yearning families.

Vladimir Putin personally called his Turkish counterpart.

‘I express my condolences regarding the tragic incident that took the lives of several Turkish soldiers from al-Bab’, says Putin.

The incident comes after the two states expressed some signs of reconciliation.

We mention that two years ago the Turkish army crashed a Russian place at the Syrian border, killing many.

A month ago, Russia, Turkey, and Iran ended the trilateral mechanism of following, ensuring and respecting the Syrian treaty.

The official document suggests the mechanism will only include the ensuring and preventing some challenges, reports Reuters.

Apparently, the discussion between the two state leaders included also the fight against the international terrorism.

Putin and Recep Tayyip agreed to intensify the military coordination in the rebel-controlled area.
