Sean Spicer discusses Atlanta attack that never happened

The Press Secretary Sean Spicer claims an attack occurred in Atlanta, but in fact, it never did.

It is the third time in one week when Spicer mentions this attack.

He says that an overseas person attacked.

The first time he approaches the subject is on January 29. In a meeting with ABC, he says that the families of people who died in Atlanta or Boston. In these states, terrorist attacks occurred.

The second time was when he was at “Morning Joe”. One of Spicer’s concern these days is defending the immigration ban. He did so while he was on the show. He says that they needed to do something to ensure that the American citizens are safe.

He recalls the many cases: “San Bernardino, Atlanta… Boston”.

The latest one was on January 30. He was asked about how the immigration ban will evolve. Spicer said that they will continue to review the order in time. They want go further with it, eventually. He advises to take a look at the devastated families from Atlanta.

As he refers so many times at this attack, Spicer should have informed before. An attack in Atlanta hasn’t occurred in over twenty years. So, why mention it?

The press secretary was asked about his comments, but delivered no message yet.

While the last terrorist attack in Atlanta was 21 years ago, one that has responsible an Islam never occurred.

Trump’s entire staff wants to defend the immigration ban by bringing as many arguments as possible. They want to point out that this measure is taken for protection, so giving examples of mourning families can be helpful.
