SNL recap: Melisa McCarthy returns, Trump in court

SNL returned last night with yet another incendiary show. President Donald Trump and the press secretary won’t like this at all, as the actors mocked them once more.

Alec Baldwin hosted the show and also impersonated the main attraction of the series, Trump. It was the seventeenth time the actor hosted SNL.

His skit of Trump featured the president in the “People’s Court”, where he battled against the three federal judges. The skit took on his ban being further rejected as being unconstitutional.

The skit featured a shirtless Vladimir Putin, the president’s “longtime crush”, who came to support and defend him in court. In attendance were also Steve Bannon and son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Melissa McCarthy made another appearance after the huge success from last week. She delivered another hilarious performance. Her Sean Spicer promoted Ivanka Trump’s line. He sported a cheap bracelet and a pair of heels.

She also referred to Spicer’s comments after her last skit. The press secretary responded at the beginning of the week and advised to cut back the amount of gum. This time, the actress resumed to a single slice, which was a huge one.

Another skit featured Beyonce’s babies. Senator Elizabeth Warren also featured in a skit.

Ed Sheeran made an appearance in the show.

President Trump will for sure not like what happened during the show. They touched a pretty soft spot, the denial of the ban, which infuriated him.

Sean Spicer won’t be too happy as well. He called the last show mean.

The NBC show managed to capture the attention again and seems to become more and more popular.
