YouTube introduces the LIVE function on mobile phones

YouTube makes a step forward in terms of live streaming, so now, it is possible to do this directly from your mobile phone.

YouTube began to discuss their plans to introduce the live streaming function on phones since the mid-2016.

But, it’s only now that the officials have taken the first concrete step in this direction.

Thus, the function is available, at least momentarily, only to users who have at least 10,000 subscribers.

Fortunately, however, this limitation is only a temporary one and the streaming function will become available, soon, to all users.

You have to click a couple of times in the YouTube mobile application if you want to start a stream.

The video thus created are subjected to the same treatment as those loaded in a classic manner.

These can be found via the search function, using the recommendations or playlists, so users do not necessarily need to access an account to see a live show.

YouTube also says they have worked pretty much to optimize this function, so that no problems will occur during streaming unless you have a weaker connection.

There is some option monetization the streaming videos via YouTube.

This is known as “Super Chat” and is a way for those who are watching the stream can pay to be first on the chat, so their message would be more easily visible to those who goes live.

These messages remain in the upper part of the chat for up to 5 hours.

Not many users can boast over 10,000 users subscribe to their channel, so it will take some time for YouTube to be really flooded streaming live on mobile phones.
