An advertisement created especially for the 2017 Super Bowl from Budweiser is a perfect troll on president Donald Trump.
The American beer brand has invested a lot of money into having its commercials shown at the NFL game. Since Trump and his actions have been the most talked-about this time around, why not create an ad that evolves around it.
The commercial tells the story of a German immigrant that arrives in the United States. He is the one that founded the company that makes Budweiser, Anheuser-Busch.
His name is Adolphus Busch. The ad shows his trip over the sea and how he struggled during it.
Then, like any other immigrant to a new country, he has to blend it and make a way to the top.
The commercial embodies the struggle immigrants go through on their way to the country, how they are then treated by locals. It approaches subjects such as the problems of color or origin.
What a better troll on Trump. Just last week, he banned Muslim immigrants to enter the state.
What Budweiser wants to emphasize is that these people already confront with a lot: getting to the state is hard, adapting, resisting rude comments. The president’s racist act couldn’t go unnoticed.
The 2017 Super Bowl will take place on February 5th. It is one of the most anticipated NFL games and one of the most American things ever.
This year, the Atlanta Falcons will play against the New England Patriots.
