Nina Dobrev proves that you can still be friends with your ex-boyfriend and with his wife.

The 28-year-old dated “Vampire Diaries” co-star Ian Somerhalder for quite some years. Eventually, they broke up and the hunk moved over.

Only a few months after they broke up, Ian was seen with a new lady: Nikki Reed. What’s more is that his new girlfriend and his ex were friends.

Things evolved and the two ended up getting married. They tied the knot in 2015.

Since then, fans keep wandering if the three have been feuding. Nina left the show last year and people can’t help but wonder if the break up is to blame.

Now, the three perfectly ended the rumors on Tuesday, they posted a picture on Instagram.

The exes had to see each other again as Dobrev returned for the finale episode of the series.

Reed wrote a lengthy caption for the picture. She puts an end to every rumor. They never got involved into a feud and never will.

She says that women should be strong and supporting each other, with no hatred and fighting over a man. She wants to teach the young girls that it’s not ok to hate other women.

The three are still good friends and do nothing but support each other. Even after they broke up, Somerhalder and Nina kept a close relationship. They were all the time on set together.

The 38-year-old is happy with his wife, who shares his passion for animals and the need to protect the environment.
