The TVD cast is saying farewell to the show

After about eight years of being like a family, it has not come the time for the “Vampire Diaries” stars to say good-bye.

The beloved CW series came to an end with their eighth season. The stars are sad to leave the set where they spent so many years.

After filming the very last episode, they wrapped up and moved to new, exciting adventures.

On Wednesday, the actors and the whole team threw a small party and said their farewells to the characters.

The actors shared pictures and videos on social media. They said a last message from the set.

The last episode is entitled:” I Was Feeling Epic” and fans expect it to be epic, indeed. It will premiere in a few weeks. Fans are not ready for it to end, and it appears like the actors weren’t as well.

Nina Dobrev, who left the series a couple of years ago, made a return so that the show will have the proper ending. It wouldn’t have ended if Elena Gilbert wasn’t there.

Other actors that left the series also made a comeback.

The two on-screen brothers, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are probably featured in the last scene. The two best buds shared a last photo as the beloved Salvatore brothers. These two will definitely be missed.

Ian posted a video on Facebook as he says goodbye.

The cast celebrated with a huge cake, laughter and tears. All of them are nostalgic about the amazing moments they spent shooting in Atlanta.

Since it first premiered, it has become a fan-favorite show. Now, we hope to see the stunning actors in new great roles.
