Nicki Minaj dethrones Taylor Swift

Nicki Minaj just established a new record. The artist passed Taylor Swift on the list.

She has some of the most tracks on the Billboard Hot 100 list. With her newest hit, Minaj made her 71^st entry and dethroned Swift, who only has 70.

However, the two artists face a much bigger challenger, Aretha Franklin, who has 73 entries. Franklin is the one that reigns over the list.

What brought her this new record is her hit song with Major Lazer, “Run Up”. The track hit number 66 on the list this week.

After the three reining queens on the list comes Madonna, with 57, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Barbra Streisand, amongst others.

On 27 of the songs that made it to the list, the rapper was qualified as the lead artist. Swift, on the other hand, has been the lead in 67 out of seventy.

Again, Franklin outnumbers them, being the lead of all of her songs that made it to the list.

When it comes to the general list, the largest number of hits is held by “Glee”, which has 207.

Now, Swift has a song in the top five on the list, which is a collaboration with Zayn.

Minaj tries to break the rumors about her pregnancy, which are not true. She also had a feud with a major shoe designer. She called him racist.

Another problem she has is her house being robbed. The burglars stole items that are estimated at $200,000.

In spite of all these problems, reaching the second place on the list might bring some consolation. It definitely is a big thing.
