More and more refugees are leaving US for Canada

In light of the recent events, more choose Canada rather than the United States. Refugees either leave America for it or just go there in the first place.

This weekend, more than twenty immigrants traveled to Canada. The worst thing is that they went there illegally. According to the officials from the Canadian border, they tried to enter the country illegally.

Recently, a lot of them are going to extreme measures just to cross the border. Despite the freezing weather and the snow, these people try to get to the other side of the border.

They fear for their lives and safety now that the new president has implemented the immigration ban. Although the order was blocked, they still have worries.

After Donald Trump signed that order, the Canadian PM said that his country will continue to welcome everyone. Justin Trudeau declared numerous times that is important to welcome refugees. His state will welcome everyone, especially the ones that have experienced the terror of war.

Regarding the twenty people that tried to go to Canada, they are now questioned.

Immigrant advocates based in Canada consider that the United States are not safe anymore. There is a law that says that refugees should be protected by a safe country, but US doesn’t feel like that anymore.

These advocated declared to a TV network that the ones who will seek refuge from US will not be given permission to enter.

Canada, of course, wants to keep the border safe.

It’s still not clear what will happen with the immigration border, but Trump promised he will find a way to implement it.
