A kind of clouds that generates terrifying hexagonal air bombs with wind speeds of 275 km / h could be the explanation behind the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. Scientists argue that extremely strong gusts can topple vessels and can push planes to crash into the sea, reports The Mirror.

Mysterious area of 500,000 square kilometers of the North was blamed for the disappearance of at least 75 aircraft and hundreds of vessels. These strange hexagonal shaped clouds could hold the secret of the disappearances.

Winds in the so-called air bombs are so powerful that create waves that are over 13 meters high.

‘Such clouds are formed by hexagonal what is called micro-air explosions and bombs are coming down from the cloud base and hit the ocean creating huge waves that become larger and they begin to interact,’ said meteorologist Randy Cerveny.

At least a thousand people lost their lives in the Bermuda Triangle in the last 100 years. On average, four planes and 20 vessels were lost there each year.

Bermuda Triangle is also known as the ‘Devil’s Triangle’ and is an area roughly triangular in shape with three corners localized in Bermuda, Puerto Rico and Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the Atlantic. The surface is comprised of approximately 1.2 million km². There is some speculation that in this region paranormal phenomenon often happens, such as the disappearance of a large number of vessels and aircrafts, the laws of physics and paranormal activity are thwarted, so this is also put behind extraterrestrial beings.
