In March Playboy announced the saddest news: the magazine will stop the publishing of images in which the models appear naked, after 60 years of serving the sexiest pictorials.
The publication was planning to remove from its pages the so-called ‘Bunnies’ and focus more on the editorial content.
The first person who abolished the decision adopted by Hugh Hefner (90 years) was his son Cooper, writes Daily Mail.
According to the British publication, the founder of Playboy will be replaced by his successor, who plans to bring back the raunchy shoots.
Cooper Heffner is set to occupy the Creative Director position despite the fact that he is only 25.
‘When you have a company and its founder is responsible for triggering a sexual revolution and then rip that aspect from the company’s DNA by removing nudity it makes me sit back and ask: What the hell this company does?‘, stated the young entrepreneur Cooper in February for Business Insider.
However, Interim Executive Director Ben Kohn denied rumors that nudity will return on the pages of Playboy.
‘At this time, there are no plans to change the level of nudity in the magazine’, said Kohn.
Also, Cooper failed to confirm the information but wanted to clarify certain aspects that will change at Playboy.
In addition, it seems that several employees, including editorial director Jason Buhrmester, will not continue his collaboration with the magazine.
