Republican Donald Trump launched an attack against three large companies from the social media sector.
According to him, Facebook, Google, and Twitter are ‘average’ companies and also ‘dishonest’, because they are trying to ‘bury’ the negative news about Hilary Clinton.
Trump refers to the ongoing investigation initiated by the FBI after several emails of Democratic Party representatives were hacked and published on Wikileaks.
The American tycoon does not go into details, but a recent analysis shows that he is not right.
For example, the first item displayed on Google News on Sunday morning was the US version of the FBI portal and about director James Comey who discussed a series of new leaked emails.
Moreover, on Twitter, the ‘Clinton evidence’ headlines were one of the topped news all Sunday morning.
FBI initiated a new investigation regarding the private email service used by the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, while she occupied the Secretary of State position.
On Friday, the Federal Bureau has sent an official notification to the US Senate Judicial Committee.
‘The investigators have discovered new emails that need to be investigated’, said the FBI director James Comey in a message for the Office, reported BBC News.
Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate in the presidential race set to take place on November 8, was the Secretary of State between 2009 and 2013.
Using private emails during other official activities attracted a series of harsh critics, especially from her Republican opponent Donald Trump.
