Actress Allison Janney got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

The American actress Allison Janney, mostly known as CJ from the ‘The West Wing’ series, inaugurated her star on the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame on Monday, reported EFE.

‘It’s a great moment and day and I am completely thrilled and honored’, said Allison Janney. The 56-year-old appeared at the event in a white lace dress, who complimented her beautiful figure.

In the nostalgic and emotional speech, the actress managed to sneak a touch of humor and thanked her family and colleagues for the support.

Allison became known worldwide after she impersonated the character of CJ Cregg, a journalist who works at the White House in the political series ‘The West Wing’.

Janney was acclaimed by the critics for her immaculate performance in ‘Juno’ (2007), ‘American Beauty’ (1999) and the series ‘Mom’.

Her friend and colleague actor Richard Schiff was also present at the launching.

‘If I were a woman, this would be the star that I would look to imagine my life. If I were a homeless man here I would like to sleep. And if I would be myself I would stand up to tell everyone that we all love you Allison and there is nobody in the world that deserves this honor more than you’, said Schiff in the most emotional speech.

Comedian Anna Farris attended the event as well. The two actresses played mother and daughter in the CBS comedy Mom. Anna showed her support for Allison by hugging and congratulating her in front of the massive crowd.
