The Chinese government warned The United States to take security measures regarding the U.S. missile system installed in South Korea.

China is the main supporter of North Korea and repeatedly expressed its concern when it came to the installation of the Terminal High Altitude Defense (THAAD) on the South Korean territory.

‘We will notice the significant progress and analyze the possibility of taking measures to defend our national security and regional strategic balance’ said the spokesman of the Chinese Ministry of Defense Yang Yujun.

‘Another highlighted aspect is that when the Chinese people says something they mean it’ added Yang Yujun for Reuters.

Russia expressed their concern about the installation of US antiballistic in South Korea as well.

After the Supreme Leader tested its fifth nuclear missile, the global organizations waited for a response from the United States Security Council.

Unfortunately, the UNSC failed to impose a set of sanctions or punish the North Korean state.

In January, after North Korea conducted its fourth nuclear test it took two months for the UNSC to cobble together a unanimous resolution that included tough sanctions but left major loopholes because of China’s opposition.

A month later, the Korean peninsula launched their first satellite into the earth’s orbit and in August, the Pyongyang administration tested a submarine.

Pyongyang wants to get concessions (massive economic aid) and keep its nuclear weapons. In conclusion, the Beijing government will not cooperate with the U.S to teach Kim Jong-Un a lesson.
