Jim Carey Could Be The Reason His Ex-Girlfriend Killed Herself

Jim Carrey is said to have given Cathriona White, his late ex-girlfriend, a sexually transmitted disease and lying about it just before he broke up with her, in this way triggering her suicide, claimed her estranged husband.

Mark Burton accused Carrey of providing the drugs that his wife used when she overdosed in September 2015 and filed a complaint which was revised in a lawsuit against the star on Thursday, reported TMZ.

The lawsuit is alleging the 30 year old White, who learned back in 2013 that the actor gave her Type 1and 2 Herpes (genital herpes) and gonorrhea as well, pressuring her to remain quiet about it.

The amended suit states states that in an exchange of messages dating back in February 2013, she wrote to Carrey when she figured out that she had contracted the STDs.

The recent complaint is also stating that Carrey, who is 54, had unprotected sex with Cathriona without telling her he had any STDs or that she could be at risk.

He tried to downplay the symptoms she had and when the woman was tested and told she had STDs he would have suggested that she has them from another person, the court documents are saying.

This kind of disease (genital herpes) is a chronic condition which remains in the organism forever, being able to become active at any moment, usually when the immune system is low.

The virus can recur in the first two years up to five times, usually in most people. However the outbreaks can reduce over the time.

When White confronted Carrey about it, he ‘threatened’ and ‘manipulated’ her, making use of his ‘handlers and attorneys to silence her,’ states the lawsuit.

Burton, who is 49, is also claiming that prior to her suicide in 2015 the woman sent a letter to Carrey, saying that the STDS will be a problem for her to find someone else after the breakup.

In the same letter, she also referred to herself as being ‘damaged goods’.
