The security from an airport in Austria needed psychological counseling after they searched the luggage of a woman from Morocco.

The authorities from the Graz Airport were in full shock after they discovered that the tourist was carrying her husband’s remains.

To be more specific, her late husband’s intestines. The grim discovery was confirmed by the intelligence agency APA and the Austrian Ministry of Finance.

The woman, who had traveled from Morocco to Graz Airport, was passing through customs when officers thought she seemed nervous.

Officials then asked to inspect her luggage and according to the Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung, that is when they found the entails.

According to the officers, she even placed the organs in containers. After she was questioned by the authorities she said that her deceased partner – a Moroccan-born in 1976 – was actually poisoned and she wants to run some tests on his organs. Apparently, her husband died during a surgery in Morocco.

The woman, who’s identity was not disclosed wanted to carry a toxicological exam on her husband’s entrails. When she arrived in Graz and the authorities discovered the container, they decided to call a doctor to the scene. The intestines have been stored temporarily ahead of the further forensic investigation.

Graz Airport is in Austria’s second largest city and mainly serves flights to Europe and other holiday destinations. More than 6,000 passengers use the airport each day flying to around 50 destinations.

A criminal investigation into the incident would not be “relevant,” a police spokesman said.
