A few hours before the first presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, the Republican candidate Donald Trump threatened to invite Gennifer Flowers to the show, a former mistress of Bill Clinton, husband of the US Democratic presidential candidate, reports France Presse.

The woman whose link with the former US President Bill Clinton started from the late 70s, said that she might come.

However, Kellyanne Conway, the head of Trump’s campaign, could not confirm whether Gennifer Flowers will come on Sunday, limiting themselves to saying on CNN that the Republican candidate team did not ‘officially invited her’.

‘The fact that Donald Trump spends hours before the debate with such things shows what kind of leader he will be, the president of a kindergarten’, Robby Mook estimated at the same television station, head of the Democratic candidate’s campaign.

‘This is a warning sign even before the debate begins, on his lack of skill, the tactics of intimidation, which makes him unfit to be president,’ Robby Mook added.

The threat of Donald Trump comes after it was announced that businessman Mark Cuban, owner of, among others, the basketball team Dallas Mavercks, highly critical of the Republican candidate, was invited to the Hillary Clinton camp to attend the debate.

If he ‘(…) wants to sit in the front row, maybe I’ll invite Gennifer Flowers to sit next to him,’ Donald Trump posted a message on Twitter on Saturday.

The Gennifer Flowers case was just about to affect the Bill Clinton in his first presidential race in 1992. At the time, he denied that he had a relationship with her. A few years later, he admitted, under oath, one sexual relationship in 1977. Instead, Flowers argues in a book that their relationship lasted 12 years.

The first presidential debate is on Monday night at Hofstra University near New York and is highly expected and could beat audience records. Each camp has several hundred seats in the hall and guest choice is always extremely sensitive.
