With only a few months before the American people elects their new president, the current state leader started to plan his life after their departure from the White House.

After seeing their new house, we believe that Barack, Michelle, and their two daughters don’t have many reasons to complain about.

The current US President signed a lease for renting an 8,200 square meters villa in Kalorama, a residential district in Washington DC.

The three-floor mansion is built from red bricks, has nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms, plus a basement.

The accommodation has the most beautiful and spacious living room, a dining area ‘equipped’ with a fireplace and a terrace with a lovely garden.

America’s first family rented the villa from Bill Clinton’s former spokesman. The property has an eye-popping yard and it was built in 1928.

Michelle and Barack plan to remain in Washington until Sasha finishes high school. Their eldest, Malia plans to go to Harvard in the upcoming year.

‘We’re going to have to stay a couple of years in D.C. probably so Sasha can finish’, said the President in March about his youngest daughter.

‘Transferring someone in the middle of high school? Tough.’

Naturally, the critics are not very pleased that President Obama chose a residential area, frequented by wealthy American families.

According to latest data, the house was purchased in 2014 for $5,3 million dollars. This year it was evaluated at $6,3 million dollars. It is located in the upscale embassy neighborhood, next door to a former congressman and down the street from the French ambassador’s residence.
