Snapchat is enjoying a massive success worldwide. The application managed to captivate the attention of youngsters all over the world, by introducing the funniest and easy way to access filters.

Since video footages are becoming more and more popular on the social platform, Snap Inc. decided to launch a sunglasses collection, named ‘Spectacles’.

The hi-tech device generated the biggest frenzy among young generations, due to its recording from users’ perspective function.

‘Spectacles’ is a pair of intelligent shades, dedicated to those who desire to share with their friends every single moment.

‘Spectacles’ have the most unconventional shape and in a variety of bold colors such as black, red and blue. The camera is equipped with the most performant lens, which has an 115 degrees opening, capable of simulating the human eye perspective.

When the user wants to record a video, he has to simply press the button on the frame. The entire process takes up to 10 seconds and the maximum recording time is 30 seconds. Once the recording has started, a warning light will appear on the frame, while another LED will alert your friends that they filmed.

You will also be able to control ‘Spectacles’ through your smartphone. When it comes to autonomy, the Snapchat team suggests that if it’s full, the battery will last an entire day. The full package includes an adapter and a portable frame with an integrated battery.

Snapchat will produce a limited number of devices and the price is not going to be very high either. ‘Spectacles’ are going to be launched this fall for the price of $130.
