The hurricane Matthew changed his path on Wednesday and is heading to the Bahamas and Florida.

After passing through Haiti, the natural disaster caused the death of 26 people and destroyed most of the houses.

The catastrophe caused by Matthew led to the postponement of the presidential election because the officials are too busy to help the victims.

Matthew is a Category 3 (on a scale from 1 to 5) and it was labeled as the most violent storm from the Caribbean in the last decade.

The hurricane basically swept Haiti and Cuba, causing massive damage in the living areas, plantations and at the animal farms.

In U.S, more than 1,5 million residents from the southeastern coast of Florida were evacuated and warned to expect a direct impact with the hurricane, which could be catastrophic.

‘Everyone in our state must prepare for a direct impact’, said Governor Rick Scott.

‘If Matthew will directly hit Florida, the damage could be catastrophic and we must be ready’, added Scott.

The American meteorologists believe that Matthew will destroy Florida or will get dangerously close to the state on Friday. After Florida, Matthew’s next target is South Carolina.

The American state leader Barack Obama warned the locals from the endangered areas that Matthew is a ‘serious storm’ and they have to be vigilant.

‘If you have ordered evacuation it should be taken seriously’, the president said.

‘You can always rebuild. You can fix anytime. But a life is lost forever’, added Obama during a visit at the FEMA headquarters in Washington.

According to the UN Office of Humanitarian Assistance (OCHA), 300,000 victims from Haiti need immediate assistance.

The U.S. Navy prepared a floating hospital, in which 300 marines will embark and head to Haiti.
