Bashar al-Assad regime is responsible for the resumption of hostilities in Syria after the truce established by the US and Russia the French President Francois Hollande has accused in his speech to the UN General Assembly.
‘I tell the foreign supporters of the Administration in Syria that they must compel the regime to implement the truce, or they will bear responsibility for chaos and division of the country,’ said Francois Hollande.
Russia and Iran are the main supporters of Bashar al-Assad Administration.
‘The tragedy in Syria will be seen in history as a disgrace for the international community if they do not end it fast,’ Hollande added, according to the Reuters website.
The leader from Paris described Aleppo as being a ‘martyr city’. ‘Thousands of children died in the bombing, people are starving, humanitarian convoys are attacked, using chemical weapons,’ said Hollande, warning that these things will not go unpunished.
‘I can say one thing: it is enough,’ he concluded Hollande.
Russia and Syria accused the insurgent groups, that the West was supporting, of violating the truce.
Syria is facing, since March 2011, violently repressed riots and military conflict between the security services subordinated to Bashar al-Assad, opposition forces and terrorist groups, including the organization of the Sunni Islamic state (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria / Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant). The balance of the conflict exceeds 270,000 dead people.
The latest attack in Syria was an attack over a humanitarian convoy that was transporting food and medicine to Aleppo.
