Hillary Clinton’s election tournament resumed on Thursday after being declared by her doctor “healthy and fit to serve” as a US president, reports the Euronews website.

The campaign team of the Democratic Party of the US presidential election showed updating medical data for Hillary Clinton.

Clinton, aged 68, left the ceremony to commemorate the victims of September 11 as she was made sick from the heat. She was then forced to cancel the two-day election tour in California, being diagnosed with pneumonia.

Meanwhile, her husband, Bill Clinton, was in Las Vegas, replaced her during the campaign period in which Hillary was recovering.

“She feels very well, we live crazy times in which people consider unusual a simple cold, last time I checked there were million people every year getting a cold,” said Bill Clinton.

Hillary Clinton’s discretion about her state of health was used by opponents to accuse her of lack of transparency in the campaign.

“I got dizzy and lost my balance for a moment, but after I got in the car and sat down, I cooled off and drank some water, I immediately began to feel better. I had to have five days of rest, so my doctors have recommended, but I didn’t follow this wise advice. I want to get rid of this disease (pneumonia) and go back to the campaign as soon as possible,” Clinton declared after the scene.

Both candidates in the US elections are among the older people who have applied so far for the White House and were pressured to disclose information about their health.

There have been recent public health data demonstrating that their blood pressure and cholesterol levels of the two candidates are within the normal limits.
