First Pictures From Jumanji Set Revealed

The first photos from the set of Jumanji in Hawaii have emerged.

Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan were spotted in a full jungle garb as they were wrapping day one of recording on the set of the sequel.

The four of them were recorded looking serious while they were making their way through the  dense foliage of the island, but never stopped smiling when the cameras stopped recording.

The Rock, who previously revealed he is going to play ‘the Smoldering Dr. Bravestone’, confirmed on a social platform that the first name of the character literally is just that.

‘EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK: #JUMANJI The journey continues..,’ he posted with a group shot, before revealing co-star Hart would be playing ‘Moose Finbar’.

He also revealed that Karen Gillan’s character is going to be called ‘Ruby Roundhouse’, before saying that there was a reason behind the rather impractical outfit of tiny short-shorts, knee-high boots and belly crop top.

‘Her jungle wardrobe will make sense when you know the plot. Trust me;)’ he wrote.

The Rock also confirmed that Jack Black will play ‘Professor Shelly Oberon’ and that he will star as ‘Dr. Smolder Bravestone, ’cause well.. he smolders’.

‘Hard workin’ and FUN first day of shooting in the jungle with this talented and crazy motley crew. Jack is brilliant, Karen is bad assery, Kevin is sharply hilarious and I smell good,’ he added.

The same day, Kevin Hart shared group snap similar to that, pointing out how well everything is getting along, maybe as a deliberate nod to the reported difficulties of Johnson with his co-stars from Fast 8.
